Partner Activities

There are 3 minimum required Partner Activities for LinkedIn Group Owners to maintain an active status as an Official LinkedIn Group Partner:

  • Group Announcement (Featured Discussion) – Send a minimum of one Group Announcement on a monthly basis and make it a Featured Discussion inviting members to attend DigiMarCon World 2020 Conference and your Group as an Official Media Partner (which includes your unique referral link to earn Affiliate Commissions). Example discussions are available at our LinkedIn Group Resources Page here.
  • Request to Join Message Email Template – Add a paragraph to the ‘Request to Join’ Email Template that is sent to new members automatically giving details about DigiMarCon World 2020 and your Group as an Official Media Partner.
  • Welcome Message Email Template – Add a paragraph to the ‘Welcome Message’ Email Template that is sent to new members automatically giving details about DigiMarCon World 2020 and your Group as an Official Media Partner.

Sending a LinkedIn Group Announcement (Featured Discussion)

  • Sign in to your LinkedIn Account
  • Open your Groups page and select your LinkedIn Group
  • In the left menu click the ‘Send an Announcement’ link
  • Add a Subject (If you need assistance what to write, click here for examples)
  • Add a Message (If you need assistance what to write, click here for examples)
  • Ensure ‘Make this a featured discussion’ check box is checked
  • Click ‘Send Announcement’ button

Editing Request to Join Message Email Template

  • Sign in to your LinkedIn Account
  • Open your Groups page and select your LinkedIn Group
  • In the left menu click the ‘Templates’ link
  • To the right of the ‘Request-to-join Message’ title click the ‘Edit template’ link
  • Inside the Message add a paragraph about DigiMarCon World 2020 which includes a link to your affiliate url

  • Ensure the ‘Enable auto-send’ check box is checked
  • Click ‘Save Changes’ button
